OLD CART AND HAYSTACKS

This picture I painted is of days long gone,  hay winds or stacks were done by hand by the farmers, stacking the hay with a special fork, one man throwing the hay up to another helper on top of the haystack. It was very hard work making haystacks perhaps forty to fifty per farm depending on how many acres. Just a memory now!
