QUAIN’S COTTAGE (sold)

This is a photo of a well-known and adored cottage known as Quain's cottage which is still occupied by descendants of the original owners. Ann has very skilfully captured the gentle charm of one of the finest and most picturesque thatched cottages left in Ireland.
Thirteen children were reared there and some are still living there. It is a showpiece for calendars and postcards. These thatched cottage are becoming very rare these days due to Ireland rapid growing economy.
